Description

Hydrotherapy, once called “Hydropathy,” implements water through a variety of medical and therapeutic techniques.

Since ancient times, the practice of hydrotherapy has facilitated the treatment of a diverse range of ailments, from physical pain to compromised blood circulation. Other uses include irrigation (cleansing), thermoregulation (body temperature management), and wound care through such benefits as increased blood flow and decreased swelling. Hydrotherapy is often utilized as a form of physical therapy for sports-related injuries or burn victims.

Over the past several decades, the practice of hydrotherapy has evolved to include multiple approaches, such as:

  • Colon Hydrotherapy (aka “Colonics” or “Colon Irrigation”)
    Cryotherapy – Cold-water immersion
    Full-body Immersion
    Floatation Tanks
